My love affair with cars
Photo

I had several hundred Hot Wheels and related brands of die cast cars when I was growing up. The ones in the above photo are my favourites, hands down. Except the first one. I was always trying to decide if I liked the color or not. In a great feat of irony, it looks almost exactly like my first car, which I am still driving. I have always loved cars. I have always had favourite cars. They turn my eye faster than a good looking man. I love the designs and colors and the machinery, though I don't understand all of it I'm not completely ignorant either. I remember the first time I read a book on car engines, it was really interesting to me. I didn't learn to drive until I was in University, but then I learned to drive both standard and automatic thanks to my friend Jay, and to a lovely lady at my workplace named Marion whose car I drove for both the tests, since I passed my second one. I am proud of my parallel parking skills, because they're downright impressive. I just love to drive. I always hoped that I wouldn't marry a car enthusiast though, because then he'd want to drive all the time...
Hey Monitee! I’m still around. I’m getting out of the house for a bit, but I’ll still be checking email very regularly. Let me know if you need anything. You're doing great! P.S. I'm 33 and still love me some hotwheels.
