And nothing's going to stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some
I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm yours

My wedding yesterday was both extremely fun and successful professionally, since I just finished backing up and sorting the photos. Anyone who has talked to me about my chosen profession will know that I kind of hate weddings, but after a wedding this fun and low-key, I think the notch has gone down to "generally dislike." I actually really enjoyed myself. The shots are great, but I will need to do quite a bit of editing on them, now that I've done some sorting.

After the wedding I went to the Catholic Vigil service for Easter. They have closed Eucharist and as a consequence of celebrating a series of unconventional spiritual activities, I actually never received Communion at all this Easter. I had a very rich vicarious experience at the Vigil, though, I was nearly brought to tears. It was a beautiful service that I greatly appreciated, with several very spiritual and profound personal moments. I was able to see several adult baptisms and a baby baptism, and I felt very richly blessed to have participated in the service. I went to the service with my friend Paul, and afterwards we went out for late supper and then when they kicked us out we still continued talking. All night. It was a fantastic not-end to a great day.

And now one more sleep until they excavate four of my teeth. *groan*
