Love is like a barren place
Reaching out for human faith
Is like a journey I just don’t have a map for
She’s hanging all her hopes on the stars
What a pleasant dream
Science tells us that the more symmetrical a human face is, the more attractive it is. That is, until you approach perfect symmetry, and that’s not attractive anymore. Interesting, isn’t it?
As an artist I find symmetry to be very interesting. Symmetry is very important to both art and life.
Symmetry in love, to me, is when both people put in equal effort. Because basically all my life I’ve been in one-sided relationships where I was the one falling in the love and the other person was just a friend, this is the kind of relationship I’m waiting for, where both people fall together, fall in love. It’s miraculous to me that it happens to other people so often, and I’m sure I’ll be very pleased if and when it ever happens for me.
Finding a symmetry in love and life is the battle that most people fight and lose. I hope I can win it someday.

I used a “mindmapping” program to work out a somewhat symmetrical, but not perfectly symmetrical plan for the Blogathon. It’s helping a lot.
If you count my Firefox tabs I have 18 windows open. I’m so glad my laptop is being reliable! At the one quarter mark now.
