Golf Carts, Paycheques, U Schedule

I guess there's definitely a few things going on.

In a generally random spaz of information, here's the latest.

- Last night I was out with the guys - my weekly geekdom. I love hanging out with geeks. It's so much fun! Discussing Star Trek and other fandoms with my geeky peers, it's just great. The Bible Study went well and we got a lot of discussion going. We then went to Starbucks and had geeky conversations about music artists and their various merits.

- I now have AIM, I'm "entropy falling" if anyone spends lots of time on AIM. I don't really like it, but it's helpful for music/filesharing.

- I have a movie night/coffee coming up with my friend Chad who is going to B.C. to take a degree in Social Work. Suits him, too. I'll miss seeing him around sometimes. And I'll kind of regret not having spent more time with him in the last couple years.

- Aaron (new guy from B.C. who I love spending time with because he's great) was driving me home and we got pulled into an alcohol check. The cop lady asked him if he'd had anything to drink, and he answered he'd had a frappuchino, but it was non-alcoholic... She laughed and waved us on. I guess it helps when you're completely unconcerned.

- I got a paycheque. This is a good thing, and I think I'm going to immediately go spend it on Textbooks and possibly on Art Supplies in advance, because art supplies are best bought early. I don't plan on spending it on anything else, either. Just the occasional food item and the Wireless card I bought for my laptop -for $3 plus shipping on Ebay, I might add.

- My Student Loan papers have now gone in. Finally. Hopefully that works out for the best.

- One other thing I've never done I'm going to end up doing on Thursday: Being in a Parade! The Exhibition parade is a traditional event for the Lung Association and if we get a golf cart donated for the day, I'll be driving it. *crosses fingers* It would be great, and I've always thought it would be cool to be in a parade! And I've never driven a golf cart before either. A few firsts are always a good thing. Especially cool firsts like parades and driving Golf Carts. *grin*

Going to Stacy's to stay the weekend tonight. It will be nice to relax out there again. *smile*

I need to buy a couple other assorted things with my paycheque, perhaps a smaller set of headphones? I'm considering that but I'm not sure I will.

I need to set up a second Sticker Poll so I can let you choose from the top rated ones now :)

Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end...
